In short: the app collects no information about you. It has no accounts, ads, analytics or tracking. The game works fully offline and only contacts the App Store or Google Play if you buy or restore the optional unlock. Everything it saves stays on your device.
Information we collect
None. Stack Unpack: Mahjong Solitaire (“the app”) does not collect, store, transmit or sell any personal information, and EchelonApps LLC (“Echelon Apps”, “we”) never receives any data from it.
What the app saves on your device
To work, the app keeps the following only on your iPhone, iPad or Android device:
- A game in progress, so you can continue where you left off.
- Your statistics, best times, badges and completed Daily Challenges.
- Your settings, such as difficulty, board, tile design, table color, sound and vibration.
- How many free games you've played today, and whether you've unlocked unlimited games.
This information never leaves your device through the app. If your device is backed up, the backup may include it, as it does for most apps: on iPhone and iPad through iCloud or a computer, under Apple's privacy policy; on Android through Android's backup to your Google account, under Google's privacy policy. Those backups are handled by Apple and Google, not by us.
Internet, location and other access
The game works fully offline. The Daily Challenge is chosen from your device's own date, without going online. The only time the app goes online is when you buy or restore the optional Unlimited Games purchase, which goes through the App Store on iPhone and iPad or Google Play on Android. The app does not access your location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone or any other personal data on your device.
Purchases
Stack Unpack is free to play, with an optional one-time purchase that unlocks unlimited games. Purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store (or by Google through Google Play on Android), under their privacy policies. We never receive your name, payment details, Apple ID or Google account; the app only learns whether the unlock is active, and remembers that on your device.
Third parties
The app contains no advertising, analytics or crash-reporting code, and no information is shared with anyone. The only outside code is the store's own: on Android, Google's Play Billing library for the optional purchase and Google's in-app review library, which occasionally asks you to rate the app. Both talk only to the Google Play app on your device, under Google's privacy policy.
Children
The app is suitable for all ages. Because it collects no information from anyone, it collects none from children.
Deleting your data
You can clear your statistics at any time with Reset Statistics in the app. Deleting the app from your device removes everything it saved.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update this page and its effective date. We will not start collecting data without updating this policy first.
